I am looking for tips on how to get a white dog white.
I know she's not a chi but my whippet bitch Freyja had a litter of pups in february. She is a brindle and white parti colour and her coat on her thighs became stained.
Yesterday we were at an open show and I had bathed her in whitening shampoo but her thighs still looked yellowy. She is going to a champ show next weekend so I need her to be white again.
She also sleeps in a crate with my oldest boy who is a little incontinent I change their bed at least every other day. Splitting them up is not an option as he is very attached to her and when she had pups we thought we were going to loose him as he got very depressed. He perked up again as soon as the pups were weaned and she went back to him.
I use Cowboy Magic shampoo. It is too late to order anything online as the show is sunday. She is only entered in veteran but even so I want her to look her best.

What do you feed? I think a lot is to do with diet and genetics.
Brightening shampoos are apparently good and I know in Maltese they use blue shampoos to take any brassiness out.
Could you put a belly band with a Tenna lady on the boy so he's not wet then she wouldn't stain or smell of urine??
Maybe give her a couple Of baths to try lighten her up a bit? And I know you're not meant to but chalk her and brush it all out?

She has greyhound complete food with minced tripe. Her son is also a particolour and has the same to complete but has chicken mince in his and is spotlessly white. I can't give Freyja chicken as Jasper is allergic to it and if I seperate them to while they eat he refuses to eat and gets upset. At nearly 12 years old I don't like upsetting him over food as he has always been a fussy eater. Since he has been with Freyja he always eats up.
I think she is going to have to have a bath 3 or 4 times this week to try to get her cleaner. Somewere I have some spray they use on westies if I can find it I can spray her before we leave home and then brush it out when we get there as she'll not be in the ring until the afternoon.
