Bring on the cute pics! I love them! I think you can tell some on expression and general head shape on the cutie pics. It doesn't bother me if they have jewelry on or little outfits. Just personal preference. But if I was buying a bitch to show, I'd want some 'serious' pics with her stacked and also pics of her parents and other dogs in her pedigree if possible. If I was buying a pet, I wouldn't care at all if she was stacked. It's just what you are looking for. But to me, if a breeder was listing a girl as show quality - there should be pics of her so you can tell what her body looks like. And yes, there are some pet breeders out there who are really putting out some nice quality dogs! I think that is a testament to the breeder. In my experience, they are few and far between. But I have seen some very nice puppies come out of homes where nothing is being shown. If you have an eye, you can pick up a very nice puppy like Heather did. I have also seen the opposite - hideous puppies coming out of show breeders! LOL! So I guess nothing is set in stone.

I think the cutesy stuff shows their personalities a bit more. Granted I HATE NECKLACES AND TEACUPS, POTS and the sky remote LoL but then I also don't dress my dogs in frilly dresses because it annoys me, it's my preference. But I do like to see personality before I go.
Angie you're good, I think I will find it really hard to let the pups go I'm going to be like a right cow to prospective owners wish I had the space to keep them all bahahah if have like 100 chis lol

That's what I'd always believed, and to be honest I'm surprised to hear some people who breed and show are buying pups from pet breeders now. I would have thought they would prefer not to buy from people simply breeding to sell? But what do I know I have always "advised" people looking for a nice pet quality Chihuahua pup to go via the Breed Club But then I don't like the idea of pet breeders very much to be honest, but just my take on it of course
