They throw up that bile stuff when they are 'hungry', if you recently cut back her food, it could be because of that, that she is throwing up bile.
It's really hard to say if a dog needs to lose weight without seeing pictures, and since Lily is a LC, pictures of her wet are best. If you can get some of those, it would be easier for us to judge her body condition.

Can you feel her ribs??? Daisy is on a diet she's lost about 6oz in 3 weeks she's not far off her goal now. She still looks bigger but it's because she's so heavy coated
Mine get bile too I justgive them a snack before bed

Pix isn't losing! Driving me mad - her food is down and we are slowly increasing her exercise. My collie is in fine shape since going raw, rez is great it's just tubby Pixel. She's not had a breakfast this morning (didn't want it) so will be on one meal today too. I am weighing it out too and giving her a bit less. they get a bit bigger after being spayed too don't they (or they can)

I feel i'm the queen of doggy diets!! lol... Lula was super overweight for a while. (mainly to do with her medication making her hungry and me being soft and feeding her when she was whining !!! ) I cut her down to a minimum diet and was so careful with treats but still she gained weight. We then went to 'fat fighters' at my vets and the nurse suggested that if we increased her food intake, she may loose weight??? HOW!!!!! anyway, i'm amazed but it worked. Apparently, some research shows that if you cut too much food back they will 'store' food in the same way we humans do when we CRASH diet. By increasing her food slightly, her body didn't hoard it and she lost weight! She is now her target weight and we just maintain her on a steady diet. Maybe that might help, coz i know how frustrating it is when they don't seem to drop weight and you are being really careful.

That would be amazing! She gained when she sat still for a month following her LP Op and as she's on restricted exercise still it isn't shifting. I need to find a way for her to lose. What did you feed?
