Heidi needs to go on a diet too, i've cut her down to 20g per day of ZP but its still not working, the only thing that i know has worked before is Arden Grange light so going to go back to that for a bit

Lula has always been fed on Royal canin. My vet advised i try the 'obesity' food which must be carefully monitored ...hence Fat fighters at the vets!! She is on 42gms per day with some breast of chicken for her medication and treat purposes. We have to go to a weigh in and health check every month at the vets but this service is FREE!!! the good thing about the obesity food is it has all the nutrients but fills them up more so they are not so hungry all the time. I can also use it to maintain her weight.
I know not all dogs can stomach the royal canin and i believe there is a 'fat fighters' range from Burns dog foods called High oats which is apparently very good.
