Finish her, breed her, keep a daughter and call her "Armed and Dangerous." LOL!

Hahaha we aren't breeding her...noooo way!!! But I'm glad we have a 'valid' reason not to spay her for a season or two so she can grow to her potential while she is shown. With the large breeds its especially dangerous to spay too early for their bone development.

I bet once you finish her, and you see all the nice studs out there that could complement her - you might change your mind. Obviously you bought her with no 'puppy back' agreement?! Good for you. Anyway, you might want to keep a nice son and then call him 'Army' or 'Russ', playing off the Armed and Dangerous theme. HA HA. See, I'm looking out for you.

LOL we bought her with a no puppy back on the condition that we don't breed her - if we breed her, we owe them a pup. They are friends of ours tho. We are not obligated to breed her though and they know that is not our goal. OMG lol large breed puppies are TOTALLY different than small breeds. Absolutely no way! But hubby wanted a nice representative of the breed not shoddy one lol so getting a finishable one was a surefire way to do that.

Congrats on the new pup! She has a gorgeous coat. Not the breed I would have chosen, but I believe you and your husband can certainly manage it

All pups are cute, but I would never buy a breed with cropped ears, it's a barbaric thing to do to a puppy and ther's just no justification for it Sorry, but this is something I feel very strongly about. Not just this pup, but any puppy, so it isn't a personal remark.

Eeeeee Kristi shes adorable!! One of my friends shows her presa canario, are they the same breed or just related? Shes a really sweet dog, but HUGE. I think shes almost 200. She looked just like your wee hippo as a pup though, just brindle. Congrats! How fun that your hubby is getting into showing too.
