Last week I found an advert for 3 italian greyhound bitches for sale. They would prefer to sell all 3 together but have put prices on for individual dogs. I rang as I was interested in one of the bitches. There was no reply but I left my number but no one rang back.
I couldn't get this little bitch out of my mind and today I noticed the price had been reduced. I showed OH and he told me to ring. I have and offered them £450 for one bitch they want £500 but it is 400 mile round trip for me to collect her so asked if they would accept less. I have to ring back on thursday and if they say yes will pick her up on saturday.
I had put the phone number into google and came up with other adverts for pups but the persons name has changed. It is kennels though so could have changed ownership
I just felt so sorry for this little bitch I just hope we get her or at least if we don't she gets a good home.

if you have a suspicious feeling about the seller, please follow your intuition. it would be a shame to travel so far for a disappointment...

I really don't know when I put the phone number into gooogle it bought up a couple of adverts for other breeds. But I own other breeds and the person who bred my whippets also bred other breeds byut that didn't make them puppy farmers.
Google also gave me the name of some kennels when I looked on the breeders list on epupz it gave loads of adverts for different breeds from that kennels but the name of the people was different.
What I think at the moment is if they are puppy farmers why would they be selling 3 bitches 2 of which are breeding age and the 3rd a 7 month old pup. She says she is selling due to personal reasons. Italian greyhounds are a breed that have very small litters and are quite expensive to buy so why sell them? Surley a puppy farmer would be keeping at least the pup as a brood bitch of the future.

I've phoned again last night as arranged and she may be has 2 people who are willing to take all 3. She will phone me on sunday if they don't turn up by sunday night.
I have my baby blue girl coming after christmas anyway so will get my bitch then but we really wanted a fawn bitch. Sadly the litter only contained 2 bitches both blue and 1 has a kink in her tail so not suitable to show.

Well I will not be having this bitch although on 2 of the sales sites these bitches are still advertised for sale on the 3rd it now says they are sold.
However I have spoken to the breeder of my little blue baby and she has a lovely blue and white boy for sale and she has offered him to meas well as Tabitha. I know a lot of people don't like to let people have 2 from the same litter but the breeder is happy that we are experienced enough to manage. We have often run on 2 pups from the same litter of our whippet pups so it will not be the first time we have had siblings and Buck and Willow were foster brothers.
