What are you feeding your dogs and why?? What benefits do you see from this?? Obviously I feed raw but I'm interested to see the differences between the kibbles feed their dogs

Well I feed Orijen as I thought it was the best quality kibble out there. The only other kind of Kibble I've ever fed was James Wellbeloved and to be honest I can't really see MUCH of a difference. Their poop STIINKS. Their breath STINKS. They STINK lmao.

B & Ruby eat Ziwipeak dehydrated and Lilys Kitchen wet and Twig eats Lilys Kitchen wet as its pretty much the only food she can tolerate, it is like a homemade food made from organic ingredients and they dont use any derivatives, they seal the raw ingredients in the tin and slowly cook it, to look at some of the tins the meat looks pretty raw or more rare than i would eat anyway they prefer it and do better on it than the ziwipeak tins - they dont smell like they did when they were mainly kibble fed, the do small poos, dont get the teeth benefits but they have the ostrich tendons which are great for their teeth and have really improved T's teeth i used to put logic on her teeth everyday and she still had bad teeth since the ostrich tendons they are nice and white - (they also all have a couple of bone in chicken meals a week)
I very very occasionally feed Fish4Dogs salmon small bite, altho i think this is good as far as kibbles go, they do smell a bit if they eat it for a few days and do bigger poos

I do feed ZiwiPeak occasionally and also add in some occasional canned. Tripett is a staple (canned tripe), and I have used the Evo 95% meat also. I see the same benefits as the raw, but he gets probably 90% raw and 10% canned/Ziwi so I don't know if that's enough to really compare.

My girls eat Canadae lamb and rice. Their coats have never been more lovely. Esp. Lucy's...which I think it's easier to see on a black coated dog. She's nice and glossy. A few months ago I ran out of the canadae and had to feed some crap I had left around the house that someone gave me. Within a week lucy started to shed like it was summer. Actually it was worse than that as she's not a heavy shedder. I got her back on her canadae and it stopped.
Have not noticed their poops being stinky or anything like that...not more than you'd expect I guess.
I'd love to try honest kitchen, ziwi, or fromms but no one carries it around here. Actually I'm a bit confused because I thought ziwi was a dehydrated raw. Am I wrong?
