'breeding' threads on 'the other forum'

Is anyone else just totally bewildered by the breeding threads on CP? I just am in shock that the only acceptable response is 'awwwww, CUTE!'.

These BYB cause sooo many problems for people down the road that have got their pups. Sure, some end up lucky. Many, do not.

I haven't seen anyone be especially 'nasty' over there, but people ARE saying look, what you are doing is wrong! Shape up! Don't do it! What is wrong with that? How is it being nasty?

Some people are so thick headed and rude, you have to be rude back to talk to them, like I told the one girl her bitch was ugly...cuz she just couldn't figure how or why she wouldn't offer something to the breed...which is the closest I've ever come to being 'nasty' but for cripes sake she left intact male and female in a crate together for the male to just fuck the sense out of the bitch endlessly and then is surprised she got PG? WTF?? WHY DO I HAVE TO BE NICE ABOUT THAT?

The thing I like about this forum is its people posting about dogs they love. Who cares where they came from, we have them. Who cares if you show or if you don't show. But we don't have tolerance for these ridiculous people boasting about these sad tiny problems they are creating, and idk, maybe I'm just a raving bitch, but I prefer to not have to see that over my morning coffee?

There have been plenty of unfortunate instances where people stupidly had an oops litter, and a plethora of help has been provided, providing they are willing to spay/neuter and LEARN before just breeding left and right. I would give advice to anyone genuinely in need of help but most of these people are so careless about their dogs lives it just absolutely SHOCKS me

Yes!!! I don't know a lot about breeding, but it really irritates me when I know they are breeding just because. Nobody is being especially nasty. The posters want attention for their cute puppies, but I guess they are not expecting to be told that what they are doing is wrong.

Also, I agree with your comment about the bitch who was left in the crate with the male. Sorry, but that is just plain stupid. I don't even think the bitch looks like a chihuahua. No reason to be polite about that. The owner even said she was trying to better the breed. I wish some people would just accept that their dogs are pet quality and spay/neuter them.

Well, I was called a c**t over there so that takes the cake for me! Never been called that on a public forum, so I guess that's what I get for posting on what makes a responsible breeder. HA HA.

Sheesh, I even made sure that I LINKED to responsible breeding sites so it's not like I WROTE all those sites.

I am so sick of people thinking it is perfectly FINE to breed their 10 pound whippets they call chihuahua's. I know there will always be backyard breeders. I'm not out to change the world. But if someone reads about what makes a responsible breeder and take something away from that and THINKS before they decide to mate their bitch to the neighbor's dog (or their own), then I guess it is worth it.

Sometimes, like today, I just think I'm spitting in the wind and it just doesn't make a bit of difference.

Yes it is RIDICULOUS! I think they deleted this post. Honestly I find it so offensive that we are supposed to kiss the asses of these people that are basically neglecting or even doing what I consider animal abuse because they had puppies...wth?

The one person that called Tracy a c**t was one of the worst ever, I think, though. Absolutely delusional.
