I have to say Rez amazes me! Today he's been to the park TWICE - he was off the lead twice along with Pixel (YEP She came off the lead!!!), they chased each other for AGES. Came home, flaked out for an hour and now both and up and about like nothings happened.
Playing round the living room, running round the garden and jumping all over each other. For little dogs they sure have alot of energy.
What are your chi's like energy wise??

Mine depend on what's going on like last week they slept the entire day with me.
They go for their walks (mine aren't allowed off lead) and play loads at home and prob sleep for 3 hours during the day, they tend to potter about and follow me around or just chill

Mine have TONS of energy! I take them on a walk in the morning, either or short walk or a 1.5 hour walk Wednesday and Friday. One day a week they go to agility class at night. They get another walk in the afternoon and will sleep for a while after that. At night time they are always running crazy until it is time for bed.

Missy thank god it's not just mine! I'd love to find some agility for mine, not Pixel yet but maybe after christmas.
Sarah yes the whole on / off the lead issue. Everyone has different opinions. There is a lady by me with a tiny tiny chi and a boston terrier and neither are ever on the lead and i;ve never seen them misbehave but i couldn't give mine that much freedom. I have a giant park by me and one huge corner isn't generally used so I take them to that part and they can have the run of it just the two of them. It's perfect.
But back on point - they have so much energy for little dogs.

Oh no Lisa daisy was off lead with just her but lotus would come back fine I just don't trust other dogs!!
Mine are pretty chilled... Lucy always said it's because of daisy because everyone chills out around daisy.
Missy I'd love to see your guys at agility... Hint hint nudge nudge

I'm sure the more exercise they have the more hyper they are! if it's raining and they haven't been out they sleep more

Mine have an average amount of energy, I guess. Both of mine are more mellow than wild and crazy. lol. And Pip is more mellow than Roo. They both have their play and run periods and then periods of quiet. Roo tends to have two big energy bursts a day where she likes to run around and play with her toys and Pip plays with his ball throughout the day on and off.
In general though, they take their cue from me. If I'm outside doing things, I'll throw the ball for them and they'll play a bit out there. If I'm inside reading or watching something, they are mellow then and just like to cuddle with me.
Oh and if it's a sunny day they will both spend a lot of time laying in the sun. Then they'll have a playful energy burst and then back lounging. haha.
