Lungworm comes from slugs and snails do you have them?? It can kill so I only use it during the summer season once every few months

I worm every three months with Milbemax and it only costs £3 per tablet. How do they manage to make heart worm tablets hundreds of dollars? Thats crazy, I don't envy you poor guys in the US having to pay for those.
Lung worms reside in the pulmonary artery (going from the heart to the lungs). I do worry about them so I worm right on schedhule with the all purpose wormer.

My vet recommended Milbemax once. I used it and after read really bad things about it so stopped using and switched back to Panacur after that!
Sarah, how much does Desmond charge for Advocate?

What exactly does it treat then?
As I said before I worm and flea them but try not to do it so often because I hate overloading their systems. I used Frontline for fleas and I buy it from VetUK. 3 Pipettes for £13.20

Really? Oh no Whats wrong with it? I am usually so anal about food, treatments, toys for the dogs can't believe I let this one slide, I've never looked into Milbemax.

Crap now I'm going to forget what it was. I read that a certain breed were having servere reactions to it or something along those lines. As I said, I used it for all three of mine and they seemed to be totally fine but it freaked me out a little and I didn't want to take a chance.
