Aww, I'll be thinking of him!! The vet told me to give Lulu 1.5mL of Benadryl when we suspected a reaction from that metacam & she was 3.8lbs but I know the dosing can varry. Anyway...just make sure to tell the vet what you've given & when since they will be pretreating him as well.  |

Finn did just fine today. No reaction whatsoever. I gave him the benadryl 2x today and yesterday 1x. the vet gave him some kind of shot (cant remember what he said) right after the distemper shot. So relieved. We opted to put off the rabies shot. I think he weighed 4 lb 6 oz he was nervous on the scale and there were several large dogs in there. lol
