Just back from the vets, had Birdie's heart and patellas OFA examined and certified. She cleared with great 0,0 patellas that the vet said were as sound as could be and excellent cardiac with no murmurs or other abnormalities. She will have her CERF eye exam in 3 weeks at a show we are going to.
Charm, who is 5.5 months old, also has excellent 0,0 solid patellas and a perfect heart as well
Obviously these things can change but its encouraging to have such a positive report on the little squirt!
Leah cleared her preliminary evals back when she was 6 months and will have her official examinations when she is 1 year of age so think good thoughts for her!
I'm very thankful for strong healthy girls to work with and also very pleased that I have such extensive history on Birdie and patellas and hearts in her line, and also pleased to know the line Leah and Charm share is historically very healthy as well.
Anyway it was a good vet visit...horray! Will get the girls rechecked before they are ever bred but passing the 1 year exams is a huge hurdle!
