Finn had his final puppy shot yesterday. I am dying to take him out on lead to walk in the neighborhood and i also planned on taking them out in their halloween costumes monday. Should i wait or would it be safe now?

I think he's fine to go out now. He probably would have been fine earlier actually. Have fun on Halloween.

Yes he's good to go I start taking mine out at 10 weeks, and they have all been fine, on streets and whatnot. Frankly healthy dogs are at a fairly low risk for picking up the yucky things out there, vaccinations do far less than we give them credit for unfortunately...obviously taking a puppy that is stressed already, newly weaned, changing foods, etc. is going to be susceptible to things, but I bet Finn's been fine for ages.

I took Brody to puppy kindergarten at a petsmart where tons of dogs had walked around when he was 12 weeks old and had only had one shot. It was important to me to get that early socialization and training started and it paid off.
How did Finn do on his neighborhood walk? Bet he loved it!

He absolutely LOVES walking!!!!! Soo much different than my first experience with leila. Her first couple times she had to be coerced so i would give a piece of kibble every so often. Not finn though. He strutted his stuff with gusto and seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. He never seemed to get tired. He and leila walked nicely side by side. I was SO proud!!
