I dont think it will be too expensive it just depends if they whack another consultation fee on it. Our vets aren't that quick, i'll probably have to wait a few days for results. Yeh definatly, it could be the start of something so rather be safe than sorry

Yeh they are all insured but i don't think this thing with daisy will be covered because it happened about 11 days after i changed her to a different policy and they don't cover anything that arises in the first 14 days Turns out nothing was wrong with jakes leg, he just rolled over and his thing was stuck out, think it was making it uncomfortable for him to walk lol hes fine now

Daisys booked in vets for later, the receptionist mentioned more antibiotics so i don't know if she will just get given more antibiotics but i'm not about to pay £25 just to be told that so we will see what happens i want an answer now im sick of being ripped off by vets

I hope everything is ok with Daisy. I agree I'd want the xray just to be sure everything is a-ok plus it would spare the $ in the future they just opt to give more antibiotics & they don't end up working again. That will give you/them an idea of whats going on.... I had to laugh at Jake! Sounds so much like Maxie.

Thank u I think i am going to ask for the x-ray, like you say will save money as if the antibiotics don't work again i'll still have to take her back get another consultation and whatever else, plus i've gotta get her boosters done which is what i went for originally Haha Jakes a muppet bless him

We saw a diff vet tonite, she said shes not worried about it as it doesn't seem too bad. She mentioned that she would have liked to open her airways or something but they can't do it on dogs under 3kg. Anyway shes got some anti imflamatries and loxicom to have for a while, I asked about x-ray she said its gonna be near £150 and that she doesn't think it will be neccesary and thinks its likely to be the smoking thats caused it. Hopefully next time she can get her boosters coz i'm not paying for another consultation :-D
