I have a problem w/ Leah when I show her because she won't really eat or drink while we are away from home, so I force feed her and force her to drink through a syringe...shes perfectly happy she just is so hyper about everything going on she can't quite focus on eating or drinking. If its really hot she will drink but that's it. So I give her pedialyte or gatorade the AM before we show otherwise she will be dehydrated and drowsy not peppy and showy lol. Anyway, I came across the Nupro Electrolyte supplement and was thinking of trying it...I can mix it with some ground beef and water and she WILL have that on her own...but literally she won't eat anything else. They say you are supposed to give it the night before a stressful or active day as well as the morning before. I figure it can't hurt? Wondering if anyone has used it? www.amazon.com/Nupro-Custom-Electrolyte-Formula-Green/dp/B00008434S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1320299392&sr=8-1 Charm has lots of energy but I feel like she will be like Leah too in that she will be too busy to eat or drink...ugh!

You can actually read about it here: www.nuprosupplements.com/ by clicking the Electrolyte link,...Amazon doesn't have much info. We also just got the Nupro joint support formula as I always worry about their joints...will let you guys know what I think of it. They have been on a one month break from any supplement of that type because 1-2 times a year I've read that's good to do, let their coats and bodies shed naturally, etc.

I don't know anyone that's tried the nupro electrolyte but I do like their product line! I would definitely try it!
Let me know if you notice a change after a month without supplements. Wow, I don't think I could do that! Good idea though.

Tracy we are on week 3. Their coats aren't as good. Bryco's allergies are worse. But it just seems like taking a break once a year or so makes sense? Let everything flush out, prevent any unintentional buildup, etc. I can't wait to get them back on them though, the only thing they've gotten is glucosamine still and only a 1/2 dose of that!

Good deal Kristi. It's interesting that you are seeing deterioration of coats off the supplements. At least that proves we aren't just throwing our money out the window, eh?! I am a supplement queen. I think I would have withdrawals if I had to take Brody off them. Guess I am a control freak when it comes to his diet!!!

LOL Tracy, I just worry sometimes what if they are getting TOO much? Thus the break. The biggest one I've noticed is Bryco. And Trigger is shedding like a banshee...but B's coat, what little there is, is less shiney than normal and more cottony. Leah also has taken on a more cottony appearance so to speak,...Laureladn Oakley are also less shiney. They still look very healthy but obviously the Nupro DOES help. The one thing I have figured out is it also seems to be what makes poop seem oh-so-appealing to Birdie She's all but stopped since I guess it doesn't smell as tasty...NAUGHTY girl!

Will be very anxious to hear what you have to say about the Nupro Joint Support! That's right up my alley, and I love your "reviews" ;D lol.
