Well I think some dogs do fine w/ LP, some don't. I kind of sense she prob will need the surgery so my mom will start socking away money for it without really telling my dad what it will cost b'c he kind of has that mindset of 'oh you're crazy, they are fine', too. That said he utterly adores them so IDK what the issue is!just how he was raised to think of dogs I guess.

So sorry to hear this You know Leila was having problems and limping waaay back and I slimmed her down a little bit and put her on the glu/cho and she is and has been perfectly fine. I actually haven't been giving her the pills for the last few months , not sure why i quit but need to get her bk on as a preventative. I talked my dad into buying it and using them for himself and told him what it did for miss leila . He has a lot of stiffness and aches and pains so hopefully he'll get relief.

I just hope she'll actually get the weight off her Cheryl...cuz I do think it makes a difference. I don't think most LP requires surgery but if a dog is overweight its going to do a bunch more damage to the joint...so fingers crossed she gets her slimmed down and starts her on the supplements asap.
