I'm glad the swelling is decreasing! She looks like a little old cowboy with tobacco in his cheek!

Yikes! I have never had that happen to one of my dogs, but the barn I used to work at had a horse stick its face in a bee's nest. We used ice packs and cold hosing to bring the swelling down.

Katy I think she just got bit by something. I was a little worried it might have been an abscessed tooth because she has quite a few adult teeth that never erupted, but thankfully it seems to just be a bite of some sort...there is still a small amount of swelling but not much, so I am hoping we're out of the woods...I'll give her another dose of benadryl before bed tho.

Oh man...that looks terrible!! I'm glad it's gone down. How scary! When I had to put "ice" to Lulu's muzzle I put some super cold water in a baggy & an ice cube & the water kept somewhat cold yet the water made it easy to "mold" around the area w/o being hard & uncomfortable. Anyway...sounds like she's on the mend anyway--thank goodness!!

Aww poor sweetheart. So glad the swelling has gone down, hopefully it'll be all gone soon. Keep us posted. (I've missed seeing little Oakley, btw! I feel like I haven't seen her much lately. I love her.

Is Oakley better? How about Bryco's ear? I hope they are both doing well.
