Finally! Pix gained alot during her LP starting and then the op and cage rest BUT it's finally going! I am pleased to report she's starting to look like her old self again and the weight is slipping away. I reckon another month and she will be so slim again, perfect for her knees.
Just thought i would share!

Yay! It can be so hard to get weight off of some of them. We had an almost year long 'fight' w/ Laurel's flab, and Trigger now is one we CONSTANTLY have to watch. I hate it because I like to spoil them with treats and goodies, and I feel bad leaving one out. So, I know how frustrating it can be to get them to lose weight and congrats on getting some of it off of her!

Yay, that's great! Of my two Pip is the one I always have to keep an eye on. He gains weight rather easily. I'm glad Pixie is looking like her old self.

I am so proud to have managed that - never had a dog trying to lose weight before and it's been slow going but we seem to be almost there.

I know the feeling..it's so hard when they look at you with that "but mummy i'm sooooo hungry" look! We will probably always have to keep an eye on Lula weight because of her meds but thankfully, she's now at a good weight and so it's easier to monitor. Well done you for getting Pix's weight down...its a long slog but you feel so great when you see results xxxx
