Anyone ever tried this? I got some in our customer appreciation "goodie bag" from my fav store & just added a bit of it as a "topper" the the pups ZP b-fast this morning & they loved it. It's not something I'd feed regularly but I was curious if anyone had tried it. It actually looks & smells quite good...like a gormet meal or something. LOL We tried a can of something similar once but w/o the grain. I can't for the life of me remember what it was but I'd feed that again too as a special meal...over this one actually. I need to find out because the pups loved it as well & I liked it because it was grain free.

That looks great! I'd love to have something like this to offer as a special treat but since Hope could not manage well with just offering the ZP replica treats (Real Meat brand) it makes me nervous. I think I am going to get some and at least try. I did find this: www.dogfoodadvisor.com/dog-food-reviews/tiki-dog-food-canned/Seems like good stuff!

Yes I saw that--had to check before I fed it though this store is quite picky about what they sell so generally I trust what I get there BUT... That's too bad about Hopes senstive tummy. I wonder if it's the added salt in the Real Meat treats? How many did she have that seem to phase her? Mine seem a bit itchy after having a few of the Real Meat treats. No idea why they add salt anyway. I always wonder if a new food, especially one like this will upset their tummies. The other food never did & they had a full meal of it. I can totally understand your being unsure of trying something new though...

That is interesting , I have never seen anything like it before! Might have to try it sometime...
Karen, Lion & Penny didn't do so well with the Real Meat treats either. Lion had diarrhea from it.. I don't think I will be using them again.

I occasionally buy that brand and also Weruva. Weruva kobe beef is a 5 star canned but no other info. on it. www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_reviews/showproduct.php?product=1855&cat=allBrody is NOT a fan of fish so he doesn't really like the tiki brand. It looks really fresh to me though and you can actually tell what is in it! Are you thinking of one of the Merricks canned Heather? I bought a can of Merricks awhile back for Brody, I think it was called chicken wing something. It had an actual chicken wing in it, on top of the gravy, etc. I poked it with my finger and it disintegrated, but it was a whole wing. They must put it through a pressure cooker so that it turns to mush. Here it is, Wingaling is the name: www.merrickpetcare.com/store/detail.php?c=15&s=20315I bought a bag of the Real Meat treats too. Their rubbery processed consistency had me a little concerned but Brody snarfed them and has had no ill effects. He has an iron tummy though.

I just checked PetFoodDirect and at least the Tiki Dog that they offered all had grains. Darn. Hope definitely cannot have grain. I so wanted to try this.
I am going to look at the other links you all provided in hopes of finding something fun like this that could be a rare treat.
I am giving away the Real Meat treats. Ruby and Eden had no trouble but because of Hope's nasty habit (precious poo eater) it even bothered her when just the other two ate the treats (yuck).

Hope sounds like Bryco but I am greatful that as he has gotten older he can tolerate little bits of 'naughties' here and there. It was so sad to give everyone a bite of pancake saturday morning and leave B out!
Ooo that canned Tiki looks yummy Heather...I will have to try to track some down.
Honestly I rarely find grains to be a problem in small amounts. Few dogs are actually allergic to them statistically. But they aren't 'needed'. So if its something the pups love, they can have it now and then here.
