Spent the last few days getting the bedroom ready and Maria spent the night in her new surroundings. She is like a football with kung fu pups inside, so am sure she is getting uncomfortable now with a week to go.
Hope I have everything covered but tend to keep things simple with just the basics for whelping.
Amelia looks less pregnant than 2 weeks ago so wonder if she has absorbed some - I would guess she only has 2.

Omg Pauline it's gone so so quick!!!! Eeek I'm so excited!!! My spare room stupidly has no radiator so my bedroom is going to be the maternity ward haha the others will get turfed into Abigails room!!!
How many do you think Maria is having? She's had good sized litters before hasn't she? I love Maria she reminds me so much of lotus with her attitude hahaha

I think Maria has 5 but as this is an outcross mating it might be that it's 3 bigger ones!
She is getting very restless now and keeps changing her position to try and get comfortable.
The bedroom also has a chair and an old telly (to keep them calm and used to white noise - and for me!!) It has a small radiator and we use a portable one to make sure the room is kept warm for the young pups.

I hope the whelping goes smoothly and quickly for you both, let me know they arrive I'm guessing shell have a parti colour and a couple of sables!! I'm so excited her pups are always so beautiful!!!! Lookingforward to amelias too I really hope she has an easy time too!!! |

Will let you all know and was just thinking if she'll have a parti .......not so sure as she didn't in her first litter which were 3 sable, one cream and one gold/red (Mouse).
Think Amelia is more likely to have parti-colours as she has the white half collar marking - really hope she whelps easily.
