Maria had her 5 pups on Saturday at day 57 but they were small and had trouble suckling so only have 2 girls left who I am latching on to Dam every 90 mins - not looking good.
Then Amelia decided to have her litter yesterday at day 55 but they are much healthier - 4 girls!! She had a mare of a maiden whelp with two waterbbags presenting with her first pups and then a dry birth with pup 4 - ouch!! She was so good though and just got on with it with only a few murmers - bless her

I know all the books talk about tube feeding but just don't think I could do it .......I suppose I think nature only needs so much help............doesn't stop it being very upsetting though.
