How many days into a bitches season do you mate her? And do you do it over 2 consecutive days or leave a day inbetween? Im breeding my bitch this season and last time she was mated on day 9 + 10. The stud owner was going on holiday on her 10th day so it was a bit early! There are so many different opinions out there I'm just looking to see what you all think? Thanks  |

Every bitch ovulates at a different time. Is the stud experienced? He should know when she is ready. you can also progesterone test which will tell you exactly when to mate her. You need a blood test and it's about £50 total.
If you don't want to do that you can mate her from the first time she is receptive (does she flag simba??) lotus isn't v slutty and only flags for a few days.if it was me and she had missed I would prob progesterone test her?
Average days are 9-12 but some ovulate as early as 5 some as late as 20 from what I've been told??

She is a big slut lol she is receptive to Simba, I cant remember if she was standing for Simba last time. She did stand for Levi but they only managed 1 tie of a few mins because she kept running away after he had his willy in for a couple of seconds! Does that sound like it was a bit too early?

I was told that they ovulate 3 days after the first flag.. So I would tale her a couple of days after she flags.
Can you leave her at the studs ??

Yeah I can leave her, I left her overnight the last time but she gets really distressed when Im not with her so I hated it lol. What do you think about consecutive days? Someone told me to leave a day inbetween matings because sperm can live for 48 hours inside her? She's just come into season this morning so Im going to phone the stud owner when I get home from work |

I got told it lasts 5 days. If she gets distresse I would take her myself daily!!
I think it's personal opinion really on how often to mate them
