so tomorrow is the big day, and my darling little baby is coming home. I was just mentioning to Lucy, how i've spent the majority of the day cleaning, dusting, mopping.. my husband thinks me crazy. i just feel like, we clean when company comes (i mean i clean daily, but we clean thoroughly when company comes) and we cleaned the house spotless with each child we had, so.. gotta get everything super clean for my baby chi too.. right? my husband has said "oh my god" more then once today.. but he's smiling when he says it, and helping me clean too.. so he's gotta feel the exact same way.
this house at the moment is basically, 5 people super excited, all eager for the new addition.. 3 of those people being my kids: 2, 4, 13... my daughter (2) is likely the most excited.. aside from myself.
sorry to spew, but seriously, excited madness is my excuse! :)

well, i'm a bit of a germaphobe.. so i do clean like, constantly.. i say i have ocd (i don't really), i just cannot stand mess.. and this past month, i've been ill.. so, with a man having done most of the cleaning, what i really see is just.. a clean surface with loads of 'mess' beneath.. i've literally pulled my entire pantry out and reorganized it.. Jess said "babe, is the dog going to go in the pantry?" and my reply was "don't get smart with me, messy man"... lol.

here too, and with 3 kids.. dear god. thankfully, my man knows i do not do well in mess and does his best to at least keep it 'surface cleaned' for me. i was anticipating the dr saying "ok Eva, you're good to go".. so i could come home and clean house. literally. and now with Elly coming home.. well, this place will shine. <3

Eeeee so excited for you!
Always best to have a good clean before a pup comes anyway!
Oh, I forgot to say, we have a list somewhere (I think) of foods that are toxic to dogs that you might want to take a peak at. I know Elly will be on raw but sometimes food drops on the floor and quick as a flash they're vacuuming it up! Whenever The Boy eats dinner I have to put the dogs in their beds otherwise they circle hahahaha
What time are you picking her up? Tonight and tomorrow morning are really going to drag!

OMG I am a clean-aholic too. I hate disorder. I'm always cleaning. IN fact, today we stopped by the restaurant my daughter manages and I went to the bathroom and it could use a good scrubbing, so I cleaned the bathroom. ha ha. She wasn't impressed but oh well! I can't stand a dirty bathroom!!! Plus I don't think it gives a very nice impression if you go to use the restroom and the sink is yucky, etc. I probably saved her job. HA HA HA.
