So glad she was just hiding and wasn't taken. It's so scary I don't even let mine in the garden without watching and they all have to stay when the front door is opened or are put in their pen!
When daisy was 15 weeks old she trotted out the door and went to the park lol I chased after her and she thought it was fun LoL

OMGGGG how scary!! I'm so glad it turned out ok. We lost Maxie once...he ran away when we were on a day trip 2 hours away. My dad called to tell us he'd jumped the fence & ran away. They chased to try to catch him (they'd never catch him--only made him run faster/further but they were trying to help). Anyway...longest 2 hours drive back. We ended up finding him a mile down the road under an old dead bush. Only reason why I found him was because we had Matilda & he saw her & moved enough for me to hear the leaves crunch. If we hadn't had her I don't think he would have moved! Needless to say my hubby made that area an ENCLOSED part that weekend & shortly after made a TALL, escape proof fence....the top is shaped like a T so even if our climbers climbed they couldn't make it over. LOL Anyway, I know that feeling of loosing a pup. But thank goodness your ending was as happy as ours.
