Oh no not us Lisa we wouldn't tolerate it. Only a few of us have dogs to standard.. Daisy is typey bit she is a total mess structurally and was bought from a ByB I've never said anything else.
It's not even the standard it's going to a responsible ethical breeder... Anyway read the thread

They did try and make out that what Sarah was saying was that you MUST get a show-worthy dog but what we were TRYING to say was go to an ethical breeder. In Leilani and Rogue's litter there were pups who were completely different and wouldn't really be able to be shown. But its better to have them from a breeder who's NOT in it for the money and IS breeding to improve the breed, rather than someone doing cross-coat matings and producing dogs with LP and sells "tcupz". Rogue was the runt in the litter, and her breeder would NOT have let her go if she hadn't made a certain weight. Kiki isn't standard and has the so-called "deer head", and Gambit looks like a cross between a Chi and a Dachshund with a terrible over-bite LOL. Now that I look back, I know Gambit probably did come from a BYB, possibly a puppy farm. I've learned my lesson though. I love them no less and I wouldn't swap them for a champion show dog even if you paid me! I love seeing pics of Chihuahua's of all shapes and sizes, LC and SC

Some of those FB pages are the worst. One of them, Louise, Sarah and I have had MAJOR issues with. The girl posts everything about t-cups, dogs dressed up in clothes etc but when people go to her page asking for urgent help/advice, she flat out ignores them! Its disgusting.

Technically, she's not doing anything wrong. She doesn't HAVE to answer questions and talking about teacup dogs isn't against any rules.

I read last evening. I didn't think Sarah wasn't being unreasonable at all. I honestly just think most (definitely not all!) pet owners believe if you go to a show breeder you're going to get show quality. So why bother to take the time to find a really decent breeder when they're really quite hard to find (like in my neck of the woods!). They don't understand that show breeders have PET QUALITY DOGS sometimes available in which the breeder would LOVE to find a wonderful forever pet only home for them. The average folk don't realize those breeders would produce dogs that wouldnt be good enough to show. I think that's the misunderstanding right there. And I do get that....because not all that long ago I believed that too.
