Hi,
Anyone got any ideas or suggestions on how i can stop Kas nibbling his legs. He seems to do this to his front right leg and his back left leg. The vets said it could be stress or a behaviour type thing but he can be sat on my lap happily chilling when he suddenly goes in for a nibble. He's stained his fury pink colour on the front leg and I'd really like to know why he's doing this and how I can stop it.
He doesn't seem stressed or unhappy :-(

What are You feeding him? Could be a food or environmental allergy

I was going to say the same thing. Has the vet ruled out an allergy?

Vet didn't mention allergy at all, something I hadn't thought of either. He gets fed Royal Canin kibble with the occasional bit of chicken. Hes had that food his entire life as its what Neil (Coltham) gave me when he came home to live with me.

Well I know that grain in dog food can cause yeast infections. If the vet has taken a look at him, I'm sure he/she would've said about that sort of thing. Perhaps its worth giving another brand a try? Not to be rude but RC really isn't great quality food at all.

Is the skin dry or flakey on his legs? You said it was pink, do you mean the skin underneath?
