So Roo has very little fur and loves to lie in the sun. That can't be safe for her skin as she's really quite bare in parts. Have any of you ever used doggie sunblock? I have seen it in a spray. Curious what everything thinks?

Sarah was talking about this in another thread and Chloe said she uses it. Let me see if I can find it haha heychihuahuas.com/index.cgi?board=chihuahuahealth&action=display&thread=190Chloe suggested childrens sun lotion. I was actually thinking about this for Kiki as she is very light and you can actually see her pink skin in certain areas but not sure if I could just put it on top of her fur? She'll llook greasy lol I don't think it would hurt to put some on Roo.

Thanks Sarah and Lucy. And thanks for the link, Lucy. Will check that out. Children's suntan lotion, yeah? I guess my only concern is what's in it as Roo is a major licker when is comes to any sort of lotion. When I put lotion on I have to keep her away as she will actually want to lick it. Kooky girl.

I would of thought kids would be safer in general as kids lick arms and such

You would think so, but it's not always the case. A lot of baby and children's products are actually loaded with crap.
