I recently tried a new line of dog treats that I LOVE.
www.clearconsciencepet.com/
I was looking for a long lasting bully stick like chew and tried the Bison Tendy Chews. They are just the right size for chis, about 4 inches and you get about 4 in a package. They last a long time (at least for Brody), probably 6 hours from start to finish. He doesn't chew them all at once of course. As he chews, they kind of shred which reminds me of the ostrich tendons that the UK has. I really like that as it acts like a toothbrush!
I was really impressed with those chews, so tried lamb tracheas next. These are also really nice. He takes a LONG time to get through one. They are smaller, obviously, than the cow tracheas I have seen so a good size for our dogs.
Next I tried the bison and beef liver bark. This is like dehydrated liver treats you can get lots of places, but he really seems to like these better than other livers we have tried.
All their products contain a dried veggie powder that is coated onto the product. Now I'm NOT a huge veggie fan for dogs, but you don't even see it and it doesn't come off on the carpet. Example the ingredients in the liver bark:
Ingredients: Bison liver, Organic beef liver, beef liver, air dried organic spinach, air dried organic pumpkin, air dried organic carrot, ascorbic acid (natural preservative and source of vitamin C)
Finally, I tried their super gravy supplement. It is a powder that you make into a gravy (similar to nupro but with less ingredients). It is mostly liver based.

It contains chia seeds which are supposed to be beneficial. You could see the tiny little seeds in the gravy and Brody licked them all up. Everyone knows what a picky eater he is. I will use this for meals I want him to eat that he's not a fan of.
I am very much a fan of this company and their philosophy. If anyone is looking for some treats or chews - give them a look! I give them 5/5 stars. ;D
