Hi guys,
Wondering if any of you have any tips on how to maintain a chi's coat. I brush Kas at least once day (espc when shedding) and bathe approx once a month using aloe Vera and oatmeal shampoo. I'm not particularly worried about it but sometimes the fringe pieces of coat from the ears and behind look a bit greasy and lacking. The pink staining on his leg has improved since changing his food but is still there to a small degree.
Thanks

you could use a whitening shampoo on his white bits if you want to make them brighter..
Hes only like 16 months isnt he (sure it was his brother for sale the other day??) so he still has a long time for his coat to come in. Im not sure what the K lines coats are like.. maybe louise could advise with that but i know with my lines they dont start really getting coat til 18 months. so be patient.
With the greasey ears.. u can put chalk in them and brush it out or just get a shampoo that cleans or use fairy liquid.

he is related to panda? that line doesn't seem to have much coat, panda looks like a smooth use washing up liquid on his ears, chest and tail, leave it on for a few mins to work then wash it off till the hair is squeaky clean, dont use conditioner tho x

His brother for sale? Where was that? I'd be very curious to see his brother? I don't know the full bloodline off hand but mum was Coltham Kismet and dad was Coltham True Hero. I might try the washing up liquid on his ear fringe. It's those bits mainly that look a bit greasy now and then. He decided to rearrange the back garden yesterday, woodchip everywhere!

I must have missed that, I check his site all the time as well looking at the beautiful dogs. Hadn't seen anything on the re homing section for a while. From memory Neil told me his brother was going to Ireland.
