Congrats.. Patterdales are v v v v high energy which is why she prob been rehomed... 14 months is v young to have had a litter unless she had one with her first season... Tbh Lotus doesn't look any different to Leilani underneath both intact both had 2 seasons just ones been bred.. Lotus nipples are slightly more elongated.. If she's intact I would expect the move to your home to bring her into season... Can you get her papers from her original vet?

Sarah I met them outside a shop! They just wanted shot of the dog. We only know her breed from looking at photos online. She had hardly any fur on her back half of her body, issues and had bright green poo when she arrived - she's been totally neglected. yes I would imagine it was on her first season, her underneath is all saggy. To be honest she may be older - who knows.
Yes I know they are high energy but not that high, she's been totally worn out this last week and the last 2 days she's been so much better. I don't think she bargained on us being able to tire her out.
The biggest issue is her seperation anxiety - fingers crossed we can get that under control, i'm pretty confident it can be done with training, rehab and patience.

Aww she's lovely. Such a cute little face! And she looks very happy. How is she settling? They all seem to be getting along well. Yes they get along great - esp her and Rez because he's high energy too. They do lots of following each other around and playing, it's very cute. I'm pleased you think she's cute - we do too

Awww she looks like she fits right in with your crew! Now you need a new siggy. I actually have 4 dogs! I have a collie cross too, if I ever get a photo of them all together I'll change but i found it hard to make this siggy, there is no way i could make one with 2 photos !!

Oh wow how sad well sounds like she's in the best place... Hopefully being around the others will calm her anxiety. The other thing I wondered was is she actually pregnant? That makes their teats a lot more noticeable? Pixel will need a new friend soon if Rez is otherwise engaged he he he

Well my vet had a good feel - she's pretty thin and there is defo nothing obvious at the moment but after running a rescue for a few years I know it's a possibility when you don't know the history. I hope not though. No she's had a litter already - definitely - even if she is pregnant again. No way could she have such hanging skin underneath otherwise - and my vet agrees. Don't forget Lotus only fed 2 babies, she may have been feeding 6 - would make quite a difference to her teats and undercarriage. And her abdominal surgery is a definite too - poor little girl has been through it for such a young dog (if she really is that young). Her teeth are incredible - which makes the vet and me believe she is young - although he didn't believe it until he saw her teeth. They are outstanding!

Lotus fed 3 babies for part of it I Wouldn't expect a young bitxh to have saggy belly but then again you don't know what exactly happened nor the condition she was kept in.. Well fingers crossed she definitely isn't.. I would assume the surgery was a section? You can mismate up to 45 days by the way but I know that you wouldn't know the gestation alto an ultrasound maybe able to tell I really hope she isn't!!!
