I apologize if this is a topic that has been addressed before -- if so feel free to remove this! My dog Juliet is about two years old and when I walk across the room or hang my legs off the bed sometimes she'll nip at my feet. Not in a mean way, but in a sort of playful way, I suppose. It gets rather annoying when I'm leaving somewhere in a hurry and she's nipping at them. I've tried ignoring her, yelping/saying "no", pushing her away (just gets her wanting to play), etc. It's the only bad behavioral habit she has, but I'd really like to correct it before she gets too used to it. Any ideas?

If I can get to a toy on my way, I'll throw it across the room for her! It's just bad when there's no toys around. I was thinking of just trying one of those squirt bottles of water and just spraying her back or something, but I don't know if that's mean or effective. lol.

sounds like she's just playing. Annoying but not malicious.

It's mostly just my feet. I think she gets annoyed when she knows I'm leaving so, like Lisa said, she tries to play with me to get me to stay. Doesn't work lol.
