My little darling is 9 1/2 weeks old. I have him in puppy class and working with him at home. He's doing good except the nippiness. We are piddle pad training him because we live on the 4th floor of an apt and my self and my husband have physical issues the prevent us from getting downstairs fast. He's doing good with the piddle pad. Right now he's comfined to the master bathroom we we can't watch him and the huge master bedroom when we can. Just trying to make sure he get the idea of going back to the piddle pad. One my main questions is when will he slow down enough to cuddle with me some. He will cuddle in the car with, with hubby driving and puppy looking at the window. Sometimes he will let me hold him for a little while and then he's back off again. If I'm working with him or playing (I'm usually on the floor) he always comes back to sit between my legs. He always watches me for what to do. I'm only hoping there is a rainbow at the end of this. I really love him and would love to cuddle with him during TV/Movie time. And I would love to share my bed with him. I"m hearing that some dogs never do these things. That's discouraging. You put all this hard work in and then you don't get the companion dog you wanted in the first place. Please tell me most dogs do love to cuddle. Even as I"m typing this he's playing at my feet. He will mellow some - he's just really excited right now. It might not be until he is a lot older though! We would love to see pictures of him
