I have a 3-year old Chihuahua-Dotson mix dog. She's quite small and always the center of attention. Her teeth have always been an issue as her jaw seems to be deformed slightly.
However, last night she was outside getting loved on and jumped off my lap. She lost her footing and hit her face on the cement letting out a yelp. She appeared to have lost a tooth but seemed fine afterwards. It wasn't until later that we noticed not only had she lost one of her bottom front teeth but the remaining bottom front are all loose.
She seems hesitant to take food but still does chewing on her molars. Just not sure if nature has a way of healing her or if she needs to get them extracted now at the vet. What do you recommend be done for her?
