Hi Everyone! I'm new here but not new to Chi's. My last old lady died at 16 and a half last year and she was pretty small. Lovely lovely little girl! Recently I had a bad accident and I'm home bound till I heal, so my partner brought me a new baby girl as a surprise. However, she was clearly the runt of the litter as she is six months old and absolutely tiny! 700grams! The vet has given her lots of good things to support her health and I am feeding her as often as she will feed. Does anyone have experience of such a tiny dog and if so, know if she will grow any bigger? She is charting at 2lb right now so I'm quite concerned.
Thanks for any advice in advance!
Caz the newbie! 🙂

Also, just so you can picture her- she looks like a 'tiny' version of a miniature pinscher, same colouring and everything. I'm wondering if this is simply because of her size because I've seen pics of her mum and dad and they are total chi! 🐶

I had a tiny girl who we finally figured had the equivalent of doggie IBS...irritable bowl syndrome. She stayed at 2lbs 8 oz for 3 years until the vet I was working with finally found the right mix of meds and food so she finally got up to 3 lbs! Topped out at 3lbs 4 oz for the rest of her life.
