Starting on RAW tomorrow morning! (That is if they turn up with our Tesco delivery!) Any last final words of wisdom? I'm sure he is between 7 and 7.5lbs so does 3 ounces sound about right at 1.5 ounce per meal? Thats according to raw food calculator at 2.5% to maintain his weight and calculated at 7.5lbs When the wings arrive shall I weigh them and portion them up and then freeze them? Ive no idea what 1.5 ounces of meat looks/feels like lol I'm so worried my little boy is going to be starving hungry on such a small amount of food

I would do 3.5-4.5 tbh if he's active daisy is 5lb and gets about 2.5-3 a day lotus is 4 and gets the dame amount as daisy!!
Cut the tip off and save them for when you're on organs and give him about half of what's left for a meal that should be plenty!!

Kiki is on the go 24/7 and she is 5.5lbs and needs about 6oz a day. She has a very high metabolism though. I think you should probably start off higher and then adjust it accordingly. I still have to weigh it, so don't worry You'll find he'll probably drink less water as well, just incase you see he's not drinking and worry.

Okay i'll start him on 5oz and see what happens. Will freeze the tips in a bag and portion the rest up and freeze and get them out the night before
Did you ever have any problems with your dogs being 'hungry' when you first started it?
He drinks very little anyway as I always add water to his kibble anyway

Yeah same here. Even now on orijen they act like they're starving its so embarrassing! Plus raw is higher value to them so he'll probably want loads of it!

Well, just cut up my chicken wings And bagged it up into 3.8-4oz bags. I just cut them in half really, really hard getting the weight as all the bits were diff size and weight etc. I let him sniff a bit and he got really excited about it! Cannot wait for tomorrow morning
