If you give too much one day cut back the rest that's the thing with raw you can chop and change I would go on his body condition and not his weight when you get going though as his shape will change kibble fed dogs have fat and not muscle! Raw dogs gain muscle so he will look different too you

Took us a while to get his orijen right so i'll play by his body. My mums worried about taking him out tomorrow now in case he is 'off' after his first raw meal. Any adverse effects that are likely to happen? Hes just had his tea about 5 mins ago and won't get his first raw meal untill 7.30 tomorrow morning The bags are all between 3.9-4oz so if thats not enough I can add more or make it less

He may get the runs or vomit as some detox I don't think he will though as he's fed a good kibble

As Sarah said, he might have loose stools but hopefully with the bone in the wings you should be alright. It will take about 3-4 hours before his raw diet poo comes out anyway lol

Never had a problem with his bum before though so think he should be okay though (i hope!)

I don't think he'll have an accident in the house, just might be in a rush to get into the garden!
