I'm coming across the same prob we've seen elsewhere with names. Sometimes it's nice to use ppls names in a reply, but the posts aren't always showing real names where the username is different.
For example, I know that Lowenchi is actually Louise, but I forget some names when ppl don't post very often. You just can't expect a middle-aged brain to remember everyone's name, hahaha!
Is there a way to make room for a first name to be shown in the same area where gender etc. shows up? Or maybe encourage ppl to put it in their siggy or something?
Just a thought...

Hi Elle. Thank you for the suggestion! I will have a look around and see if I can find any codes for this Just incase anyone is wondering though, it is possible to change your display name if you wish to use a different one than your user name. Go to profile > modify profile > display name and you can change it to whatever you wish but you must still sign in with your original username

There's a section in your profile called personal text people could put their names there for now!!
Lucy may know if there is coding we can use to get a name section

That's a good idea. I sometimes forget names too. I just put my name under my avatar when I was modifying it under the profile.

Sarah, maybe you can edit the welcome thread and just put that info in there so people know?
