Excellent article Tracy. Thanks for sharing! When I read that vets are now vaccinating cats in their tails and legs so when they get cancer they can cut it off, my jaw dropped. WTH?? That's insane!! I wish more vets would stop pushing vaccinations.

Kelly, you can also talk to your vet about titers. Brody had more than adequate immunity on his titers for parvo, distemper, and rabies. (Just had them tested in March). He has had puppy shots at 10-13-16 weeks and a rabies at 6 months and nothing since and he'll be 3 in September.

I'm wondering if we have the same amount as vaccine as you guys minus rabies as we only have it if were bringing a dog back from abroad BUT we only have 2 puppy jabs so who knows?

Thank you Tracy for sharing. Its very worrying, and so unfair that people are made to feel as though they have to vaccinate for the health and safety of their pet and then they are rewarded with cancer! We will definitely be discussing a titer test instead of vaccines when mine are next due. Sarah do you vaccinate for the same things as we do? If so it would be interesting to know how the doses vary .
