It's normal  intact boys are sods count yourself lucky you don't have a bitch in heat!!! Lotus marked my bed yes my Bed whilst she was in heat I was so upset because she doesn't have accidents!!! You just gotta watch him like a hawk oh...thats horrid I cried and I couldn't tell her off coz I didn't know shed done in but I was so upset and it was when I was being really sick I'm warning you in advance it's horrible no one tells you what they do and because you have a boy too it will be worse |

Ewwwww I hate marking. I would have a fit if Brody did it. He still squats and pees like a girl which is nice.  Can you do a belly band? You're so lucky Brody still squats Tracy! I wish Harry did. And to think I thought it was cute when he started cocking his leg! Aaargh! I have looked in to belly bands, but I'm not sure how I'd manage it as he's so used to running in and out all the time through his doggy door. As it is, he bangs his nose if he gets to it before I've unlocked it in the mornings! He jsut hurtles through it both ways, not sedately, using a paw to open it. He doesn't seem to have 'slow' in his vocabulary... just 100mph and asleep! And if I leave his door open, it won't teach him not to pee inside if he's still wearing that when he goes outside... I imagine it will just confuse him and make him paranoid about peeing anywhere, including outside where he's supposed to go. I shouldn't have let him have the freedom to go in and out like he does, until he was 100% clean indoors. Ain't hindsight wonderful?! |

I was going to suggest a bellyband but I know sometimes they can take them off haha. Kiki marks but only outside. When we went to Sarah's she was marking so much and it got to the point where it was literally one drop and she was straining so hard her lady parts got a bit red I thought she'd end up with a water infection! Lol Elle, I thought you were already showing Harry! I wish! But living in the middle of Exmoor National Park, there aren't many shows even remotely near here to go to. Hopefully, will be moving somewhere more civilized (;-)) sometime in the next few months, so I might give it a go then. Though with his not-thick-enough coat and a muzzle that's a bit long, I'm not sure it's worth it anyway, lol! Silly Kiki!  |

Oh the marking is awful Bryco is literally horrid. I don't own any throw pillows anymore, or anything really, in the rooms he has access to, that isn't washable. I can't belly band him yet because he isn't finished showing and he stains his white fur yellow...but you should try them for your fella as I don't think he will stain his fur? I was going to ask you about Bryco, Kristi... 'cos I remember you mentioning him marking a few months back, about the time I was first having probs with Harry. Sorry to hear he's still marking too! And for Harry, it's not just throw pillows now, but this morning I found he'd marked not just outside, but INside his cave bed, in his pen area. I'm not sure if it's just a coincidence that yesterday was the first time that one of the cats had ever sat in it. I'm beginning to think he's territorial because of the cats. But he'd been good for a while. Does Bryco go through periods where he marks less? Or am I just missing Harry doing it, lol! |

Mr darcy is a complete peeing machine ATM. Pixie is in season and he's DESPERATE to get to her. He's peeing on everything he can possibly get near. We can't leave anything on the floor, not shoes, toys, bags, cushions anything. I have been using a belly band on him which has helped, but he stinks because he gets wee on his fur. Once pixie is over her season I'll give him a good bath. I keep cleaning his skin so he's not getting burnt. He's usually good in the house, but I suppose it's only natural when a bitch is in season

perry is bad at marking too but thats just what you going to get with a used stud dog he pees up people too!!! nightmare and always stinks of piss because his fur is so long around his belly, i cant cut it because of the shows! |
