I normally bath Harry about once every 6 weeks(ish). I actually gave him a bath a couple of weeks ago 'cos he was gonna see his granny for the first time for a few weeks. And then, sod's law... just a couple of days later, after he'd spent 2 days with my Mum's cat... I found several fleas crawling on him, so he had to have another bath, poor little chap. (It was very satisfying drowning the fleas though! )

It seems to be a lot easier to keep the short coats clean, jake just picks up loads in his coat. I think he has roll in something this time though as he doesn't smell too good. I need to find a really good white shampoo as his the white on his legs is starting to get a bit discoloured. I found a peppermint shampoo for keeping fleas away it smells really good

We only bath as needed, usually every 6mths or so? Then if they get covered in poop or something. LOL

I thought I replied to this but I'm not seeing it. We bathe our pups every 4-6 weeks typically & of course if they roll in anything stinky (and it can't easily be washed off with a baby wipe) or if they have a vet appt or something. They always have to be fresh for the vets! haha

Heather thats so funny I do the same thing! Dont know why I feel I have to impress the vets but they always get a bath before they go.

That's funny because I generally always want to wash mine when I come back from the vets. haha. Probably because I always wonder what icky things went down on the floors there and the exam tables. LOL. I know they are always wiping things down, of course, but... you know. I generally pick them up because of it. But yeah, I'm the opposite and want to wash them when they come home. hee hee.
