Bit of a random question i know but Jake gets dirty quite quickly because he gets walk in the fields and picks everything up in his coat. I try to bath him as little as i can because i dont want to ruin his coat but he just stinks sometimes lol, the thing is i've noticed the past couple of times that i've bathed him he's lost a notice able bit of fur from his tail. I thought it might be down to the products i use tigi pet shamp & conditioner and johnsons white shampoo on his white bits. I really want to bath him now but im concious that i only bathed him last month and i really dont want him loosing his fur on his tail So how often do yours all get bathed and what products do you use?

He may just be doing a seasonal shed coz it's so hot??
I dont bath mine unless they are dirty as they don't smell maybe once every couple of months and Lotus gets bathed before a show
I use John Paul oatmeal shampoo and conditioner or the prt head sensitive one!!

He started losing it when i was bathing him before the weather got warmer though He has been shedding a lot lately but i swear his coat is coming back through thicker :S When he isn't walked in the fields hes fine but i think he rolls in stuff when hes out there. Ah we have got the oatmeal one too i love the smell of it

I don't bathe mine often at all, especially in the Winter. About every 2 months (sometimes longer) unless they get into something and get dirty. I used to bathe them more, but I think I think it just dries their skin out. I generally use Cain and Able shampoo and conditioner, sometimes Tropiclean.

I don't really keep note of when I last bathed them but I think usually its around once a month, maybe longer? I use the PetBed Blueberry Muffin Oatmeal & Aloe shampoo. It smells nice but doesn't actually smell once I've rinsed it off lol. Anyway, when mine are dirty from a walk, I usually just rub a non-fragranced baby wipe over them

I do show dogs before a show and as needed thru a show weekend so sometimes as many as 3 times in a weekend (Bryco can get quite dirty), I just make sure to condition the daylights out of them post shampoo. I haven't noticed any fur loss at all and I guess in theory I have heard repetitive baths without blow dries can actaully make fur grow faster but who knows about that. The rest get bathed when they are yicky haha, usually every 4+ weeks in the winter and closer to every other week in the summer as they like to roll in stinkies.

I only bath mine when they need it, usually if they have rolled in something nasty.
