Well I'm not needing a flat at the momment, but in around a years time I think I'm going to have to move out of my mum and dads house and perhaps move to edinburgh, as I am hoping to go to the art school, maybe even London art school? who knows, anyway, are there a lot of flats that allow dogs? I only have 1 chihuahua, well behaved, I know it's a year away but I'm freeking out as I really hope it's easy to get a flat because I will not move without Cici!! xx

Go for a private landlord instead of through an agency lots will allow dogs just want a larger deposit which is ok just explain she's fully house trained quiet and smaller than a cat

The only thing you'll have to worry about is finding a flat in London thats not too expensive lol. I think as long as you speak directly with the landlord and explain that you only have one chi and she is house trained etc, you should be ok. As Sarah said, they may ask you for a larger deposit or they might add in a clause in your lease stating that if there is any damage caused by her (yes, its probably highly unlikely lol) that you'll have to pay for it. Or something along those lines.

I got a dog in my "no pets allowed" appartment and didn't tell them.....then I got another.....then another. They have never done any damage and if they did I would fix it. There are another 2 chis, one yorkie, one big mongrell and a cat in my building....and thats just the ones I know of.
