I've always fed royal canin and never had a problem. However..i have heard that its not for everyone tho and some dogs find it too rich and it gives them tummy problems
The Chihuahua one i believe is made milder and designed for our little ones (small kibble for teeth, milder for tummys etc)
i guess its trial and see....why do you want to change? Is rico having problems with the food he's on at the moment?

Mine all have RC too - usually mini Adult but if I have had pups they may be given the starter or junior as I free feed - whatever is around. I also give them lots of treats - markies, frolics, gravy bones and they have leftovers from meat, bones, pasta, carrots, tuna etc so not very careful with them but they are in good condition with silky coats and hardly ever an upset tum.

Except for yesterday am sure you jinxed me
I'll explain why I don't like rc (not from a raw purist perspective just a dog owner) daisy was on rc from her breeder and she had blood pouring out her bum tothe point if she was on my lap I'd have jelly on my clothes it was awful she cost me a fortune in vets bills til I worke out what was causing it! We rarely have issues now unless she steals food from someone else's house or something she's not meant to (like something a bird has dropped)

That's awful for poor daisy, can't believe the breeder didn't notice there was something up before she went to you!! dogs are like humans not every thing agrees with every one. You just need to try different things and see what works.
