So, I've been taking Harry out shopping with me a lot more lately, instead of just normal doggy walks. He always get lots of attention, and I'm constantly surprised at how often even really big macho-looking men stop and pay Harry attention. We went into petsathome and he looks so tiny wandering round that big store... especially as the other dogs in there at the time were much bigger breeds. Anyway, Harry was getting the usual comments and pats from ppl, but this little girl of about 5 or 6 was with her Mum and she goes towards Harry and says "Look Mummy, a Cheekywawa!". I just thought what a gr8 name... it sums the little monkey up so precisely  |

Aw that is too cute! It seems like every little kid we walk past on walks recognizes chihuahuas, Im assuming because of the movies. My three always get a lot of attention, the kids in our neighborhood seem to play in PACKS, we are always passing groups of like 8-10.

Yeah, I think it's hilarious how the tiny kids recognize a LC Chi as a Chihuahua long before their parents do! ;D

Yeah I was thinking the same about kids knowing that they are chihuahuas andthe parents look dead surprised when they say it lol. A friend o the family's 4 year old daughter calls feo choo-choo-wawa lol. cheeykywawa is so spot on though.

Aw hehe that is so cute! All the little kids in my neighborhood recognize mine as chi's too. It's pretty cute. I find it almost impossible to walk down the street and not have a bunch of kids running over to me to see the pups. I took Roo for a walk yesterday and had 6 girls come racing over squealing, "I looove your dog!!". It's funny you mention men as I get a lot of men acting really cute with them too. hehe. |
