The shots are all the same ***eyeroll*** they are charging you more for the "adult" booster bc you only get one of it not two so they wanna reach a little farther into your pockets. Bastards!

My vet is good for listening I said I don't wanna vaccinate because it's been proven that vaccinations longer yadayadayada he said that's fine but I need to do lepto yearly because of the foxes that I'm fine with and is what we are doing.. They get their 2 puppy jabs a full set at 1 year then lepto yearly I may do the others after 3 years idk will see what studies are then But yes go to another vet say Eva is fully jabbed by her previous owner but u don't have er vacs card! So do they give you a speperate Lepto instead of the combined vaccine? I will try saying I don't have her vaccination card but she is up to date (he did really give me her vaccs card of course).

She has just turned 3. I was just unsure if you can even get a separate Lepto vaccine because one has Never been offered to me, even when I asked today. Maybe it's just my vet just doesn't do them, are they common?

Just wanted to say, I have about 3 vets on the go lol I'm a vet-whore anyway, you might have a slight problem if you go to another vets and say you want boosters or whatever and that you don't have her vacc card. A lot of vets will ask for you to get your old vet to fax through their vacc details and if you can't do that, they will usually say that you have to start over. Hopefully you'll find someone who's not just purely in it for the greed though! I'm not entirely sure what we're doing with vacc. Every pup has/will have their 1-year booster and I'm leaning more towards just giving the lepto each year as Sarah said because we're overrun with foxes here too But again, that would purely be for my peace of mind because all vacc work the same way and I'm guessing that they wouldn't run out? Anyway, I probably will have to go to Sarah's vet for the Lepto as my vet is pretty much the same as your vet I would like to titer but I have to find out how much that will cost and then see if they need a booster for the other things in 4 years. What I worry about though, is if the titer does show low levels, will I need to "restart" because my vet will probably suggest that rather than just giving a booster.
