Right from when Harry was about 12 weeks old, he used to take ages, but he loved chomping his way through little chicken legs. When he was teething, he stopped chewing through the bone and just chewed off the meat and sort of sucked at the bone.
The thing is, he's never gone back to properly chewing through the bone again, even though his new teeth look fine, and there don't seem to be any baby teeth left in the way. He doesn't appear to have any other eating problem, and shows no sign of having a sore mouth or anything.
Any ideas? Or should I just grind them for him?

Sarah said what I was going to suggest - just bash them with a hammer for now until he gets used to the crunch again and then back off a little at a time.

Thanks for the suggestion Sarah and Tracy. I did wonder if I should try that, but was worried that if I bashed them to the wrong size, he might try and swallow chunks and get bits stuck in his throat. Such a worry sometimes, aren't they?
