Liar Daisy shakes but deals with it!! I find dew claws hard especially on fuzzy feet!! Rachel and I tag teamed to clip paiges nails yesterday I think it's easier to restrain them when you aren't emotionally attached it is heart breaking seeing them cry and panic but they aren't happy being like that they need to chill and eventually she did (after she weed on me and her eyes nearly bulged out her head ) but we got the job done!! Next visit we will grind them I hope she will be less panicy when I restrain her next time as woe a 4lb dog is hard to restrain haha

Where do you get the nail grinders from? I'm always terrified of hitting the quick when clipping, some of Alfie's nails are transparent, but others aren't and they scare me. Alfie doesn't panic but he rolls his eyes at me, yanks his foot away and tries to chew my hand and the clippers (not bite, he actually tries to chew them, no idea what he feels this will achieve).

Using a grinder is soooo much better than clipping. It's so scary using a clipper if your pup has black nails. Roo is really good with the grinder, Pip is now too, but it took him much longer to get used to it.

Totally agree with you, Paula! Kiki's were easy as a pup because she has clear nails. When I got Gambits clipping his just made me nervous as theyre black. Then Kiki started hating getting her nails clipped and started acting out every time I tried cutting them. She doesn't particularly like the grinder either but its just taken so much of the stress away and its so much quicker to get everyone done!
