Kelly, Kiki still has her puppy canine teeth and she gets all sorts of crap stuck in there. Sarah gave us a few ostrich tendons after a visit and I seriously wish I had taken before and after pictures. It was AMAZING how it just got it all out. I think they're definitely worth trying!

Our vet here is OVER $500. I nearly threw up when they told me that and found somewhere else to take one that needed some teeth pulled...they FORCE you to have blood work, dental x-rays (those are $215 alone), and a full dental, even if only 1 tooth needs extracted. Its utter bullshit. So...needless to say I brush their teeth fervently now.

Lucy - they really don't have ostrich tendons around here! I have searched and searched, once I heard about them from Sarah. Nothing!
Kristi - ouch. Yeah, we do the brushing and gel now. Can't be bothered to pay out the ass for something like that anymore.

Kristi, you know what upsets me? The fact that if some vets realised that they'd probably get more custom if they stopped over-charging for no good reason. I don't mind parting with money for my dogs, its one of the things you have to accept if you want to own one. I just don't like the feeling of over paying for something for no reason whatsoever.

wow that IS expensive. I wanna say lucy's last dental along with needing 6 teeth pulled and I wanna say it was about 160.00.
Do you all feel the water additive helps? that's something I've thought about trying.
