Well i'm takin the beebs into the vet in the morning to get checked for UTI. I am wondering how they will get urine though to test her!? I am positive she has one because she pees ALOT more than normal and drinks more too and all the accidents oh my word, if she doesn't have one I don't know what i'd do. I am just sure she does though. Anyhoo I will write tomorrow and report her diagnosis. I hope it's not a big ordeal for her. I'm so tired of cleaning up urine.

Eeep hope they find it out asap. Leah might have one too--ugh. I've been treating her at home w/ Angel's Eyes and cranberry powder to see if I see some improvement before I take her in. She has a slightly recessed vulva that should pop out w/ her 1st heat, but, I'm w/ you, how in tar-nation will they get a urine sample? And I have too many dogs to somehow hopefully get some of her pee ha.

Aww, poor Leila. I hope it's something that can be treated easily. They'll probably do a cath of some sort. That's what they did with my kitty ages ago when they tested him for an infection.
I hope she & Leah feel better soon!!

Sometimes they just stick a needle in her bladder through her abdomen and aspirate the urine into a syringe. It's not hard if you know how to do it. I hope it's a UTI as that is easily cleared up with a course of antibiotics.

I wanted to take her a week or so ago but couldn't. My kids are out of school for summer now so they can stay home with the babies I take care of long enough for me to take her to the vet. She doesn't seem to be in any discomfort whatsoever. I am anxious to see what he says. I'm going to try to get some pee from her before we leave.
