If you don't think he was chunky...maybe the judge was being sarcastic? I'm sure he's probably used to seeing more full (erm, fat haha) body conditions since most people whether they know it or not, have over weight dogs to begin with. Maybe he just had a dry sense of humor so it came out like he was serious? I dunno--just a thought... He sounded serious and kept patting him lol. I mean, his ribs weren't easy to feel at 4.5 lbs but he "looked" good, to me.

He's so happy btw lol. At noon each day I'm giving him a small snack of scrambled egg, cottage cheese and raw ground beef. He l-o-v-e-d it yesterday.

Haha...I bet he is! Won't he be ticked off when he's put on some weight & his nummies go bye-bye.

lol...I'm sure! He's not getting MUCH, just "something". I find if I feed bigger meals they just poop more, whereas this way he will actually get some nutrition from the food. And like ya said, he sure doesn't mind.

When I fed kibble I could NEVER get any of them to put on weight...it annoyed me so much. So I did add in stuff like the cottage cheese, scrambled egg, cooked chicken or hamburger meat...and the ones that needed to put on weight did....the hard part tho is getting them to maintain it.

I'm always worrying about Harry's weight too. He looks like a wasp with his skinny little waist and my Mum teases me about him being so thin. But as much as he likes to pig out on his favourite foods, he still always leaves some food in his dish... never eats a full meal. He weighs only 3.1 lbs (1.4kg) at 14 mths, and I was expecting him to have filled out a bit by now. (His Mum is about 4 lbs and his Dad is 4.5 lbs) They are such a worry, aren't they?

Awww he's such a cute wee fella! He did look really thin in the recent photos you posted but its just so hard to tell, some dogs have finer bone structure than others and will always weigh less and maybe Harry's one of those?
